The carefully harvested grapes are manually selected in the cellar on a sorting belt before alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts starts at a controlled temperature of 26 °C.

Maceration on the skins lasts an average of 10 - 12 days with pumping over in the air until the end of fermentation.

Fresh and lively ruby red in colour, it opens to the nose with intense and very fresh aromas of flowers and fresh, pulpy fruit, among which viola, cherry and blackberry are recognisable.

Well-structured and balanced, with a slender body, it is distinguished by a great pleasantness of flavour, supported by good softness, well balanced by fresh sensations and unobtrusive tannin.

This is how Tenuta L'Impostino was born, located on top of a natural amphitheatre facing south-west, at a height of 380 metres, the estate extends over 52 hectares: 20 hectares of gentle slopes with vineyards, surrounded by 30 hectares of suggestive woods of holm oaks and cork oaks, and by 2 hectares of olive trees. In the name, TENUTA L'IMPOSTINO, then the desire to maintain history and the return, as well as in the brand, in which a simple inscription is accompanied by a historical reference: the "Wall Crown", borrowed from the coat of arms of our municipality, Civitella Paganico, and which recalls the origin of a fortified village.
