The Velenosi winery was founded in 1984 by two very young entrepreneurs, Angela and Ercole Velenosi. Then with the experience of Dr. Paolo Garbini, in 2005 the company Velenosi Srl was established.
More than 35 years of experience in the sector and the strong passion have allowed to create this reality where, through the use of advanced equipment, exceptional wine is produced.
The heart of the company is located in the historic town of Ascoli Piceno, which is located in the Marche region at a distance of about 20Km from the Adriatic Sea and at an altitude of 150/200 mslm.
The farm's farms extend among the hills that surround the beautiful valley of the river Tronto, which, thanks to its clayey and fertile soil, has always been suitable for the cultivation of vines.
In addition to the four farms located in Ascoli Piceno, Castorano, Monsampolo and Castel di Lama, there is a vineyard in the area of Ancarano (TE) and in the area of San Marcello (AN), between the Castles of Jesi. From the very beginning the winery has obtained a great success of journalistic critics published in the most renowned national and international newspapers such as: Wine Spectator, Robert Parker, Gambero Rosso, Luca Maroni, A.I.S. and many others. This is why it is present throughout Italy with the collaboration of 85 agencies and abroad where it is present in 52 countries both in Europe and the rest of the world. The production to date is about 2,500,000 bottles and expectations certainly do not stop here.
