Franciacorta DOCG made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from our vineyards in Cellatica, Gussago and Brescia. Fermentation and maturation of the base wine takes place exclusively in steel. Secondary fermentation takes place with selected yeasts, after which the wine rests sur lies for 25 months, at the end of which it is aged for a further 6 months in the bottle. The great freshness and residual sugar of 6 g/l make this Franciacorta particularly versatile and suitable for consumption throughout the meal.
The Cooperativa Vitivinicola Cellatica Gussago, founded in 1952, is a historic entity in Franciacorta.
Formed exclusively by small landowners, the Cooperative can count on 12 hectares owned by Members, located within 5 different appellations: Sebino and Ronchi di Brescia IGT, Cellatica and Curtefranca DOC, and Franciacorta DOCG.
