The Crodi farm was founded on April 15, 1900 in Combai di Miane by the Stefani family.
The richness of spirit, the love for the land and the tenacity led the company to develop over time a project of rational and methodical viticulture, selective in the management, with products that reflect and respect the entire philosophy of the company, restoring the vines of the past, which made complex the white wine of the time: Verdiso, Perera and Bianchetta, in the right measure, harmonize and enhance the main vine of the area, Prosecco, today called Glera.
Courageous choices, even against the tide: low yields, few phytosanitary interventions and above all agronomic rationality. Crodi over time has managed to create a happy island where the entire production process follows the canons of organic viticulture in tune with the seasons and the rhythms of the earth.
Moreover, since some years, new adventures and new challenges to the territory have been put in the field, such as the one of producing a red wine in a land of white wines.
Crodi winery and its staff are waiting for you to tell you their story and to let you find their great passion in their wines.
We will meet at our Osteria "Al Contadin", beating heart of the company and from here we will start the visit.
We will tell you about our philosophy walking through Combai, the vineyards and the woods of IGP chestnuts where everything originated.
Here you will see the differences between the various varieties cultivated, you will be able to see how the processing takes place and understand how important it is for us to respect the territory and the biodiversity that characterizes it.
