In 1989 the oenologist Nino Di Marco, in love with the Netino and Pachinese territory and the great qualitative peculiarities of its vines: Nero d'Avola and Moscato di Noto, decided to start a path for the creation of a winery able to combine the rich history of the territory with the technical modernity in the production of wines.
Today the company "Terre di Noto" covers about 35 hectares of vineyards with specialized cellar, mainly cultivates Nero d'Avola and Moscato, but also the main international varieties.
The company is included in the production regulations of the D.O.P. Noto, Eloro and Sicilia, which are bottled, in addition to wines to I.G.P. Terre Siciliane.
Since 2015, the company has been part of the SOStain project. SOStain is a voluntary and proactive corporate sustainability program, which is implemented through a "sustainability process" capable of leading to gradual and continuous improvements over time in the level of sustainability.
In March 2016 the Company obtained the concession to use the logo "SICILIA KM 0" (which guarantees the use of materials and services from the region of Sicily at least 85%.) whose purpose is to promote and enhance the regional quality agricultural products, encourage their consumption and marketing, ensure greater transparency of prices to consumers, ensure adequate information on the origin of products.
From 2018 the company becomes entirely organic, after a three-year period of conversion from integrated, started in 2015.
The company is part of the territory of Val Di Noto, a land rich in artistic beauty, beautiful beaches, natural scenery, archaeological sites, typical products.
All this creates an exceptional mix of tourist attractions that offer visitors endless opportunities to choose to spend their stay in this land.
