Grape variety: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon
Vinification: Low yields of grapes in the plant. Manual harvesting, carried out late to reach full polyphenolic maturation of the grapes. Vinification in red with selected yeasts, after more than 20 days of maceration on the skins to facilitate the extraction of the coloring material.
Ageing: about 12 months in 225 litre barriques, kept in batonage on the fine lees.

Bouquet: Notes of ripe red fruits, jams and spicy aromas
Taste: Soft, enveloping taste, with a good body is a very balanced wine thanks to the right acid component
Pairings: Accompanies important second courses and meat dishes. Can last several years in the bottle
Serving temperature: Serve at 18°C in good-sized glasses. It is recommended to uncork the bottle at least one hour before proceeding to consumption.
Production area: Hilly terrain of Montorfano in one of the most characteristic areas of Franciacorta, in the municipality of Cologne (BS)
Type of terrain: Cordon spurred vineyards grown on terraces on the slopes of the mountain. The soils are of a calcareous clayey nature with good rocky components. Exposure of the vineyards south-west.
