This project will allow you to experience an authentic day of grape harvesting. The program is divided into:

Morning:
7:30 AM Meeting at the Farm in Chiuro at Via Stazione 2. Welcome and theoretical explanation of the main rules, instructions, behavior, and the day's proceedings. Meet the company team and receive materials: scissors, bag, and gloves.
8:00 AM Departure to the vineyard, visual and practical explanation of the harvest. Instructions on methodology and differences in harvesting techniques. Accompaniment by an employee or collaborator and independent trial.
12:00 PM Lunch break at the farmhouse or picnic in the vineyard organized by the company.

Afternoon:
2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Resumption of harvesting activities.
5:00 PM Return to the farm, opportunity to crush grapes with your feet and observe the initial processes in the cellar such as de-stemming.
5:30 PM Aperitif, wine tasting, farewells, and certificate of participation delivery.

Expected period: Harvest period (mid/end of September – October – early November)
Duration of the experience: Full day, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
We offer the possibility to adjust the duration of the event according to different needs and desires. The duration can be shortened to a half-day; or for those eager to follow the company and immerse themselves in the harvest, a multi-day program can be arranged.

Host information

8 and a half hectares of vineyards, divided into 40 plots distributed over the territory of Chiuro, Teglio, Ponte, Tresivio, Poggiridenti and Sondrio.

80% of the production of grapes is conferred, while the rest is vinified, divided into different types, in its own cellar, built in 2008.

There, the first processing phases are carried out after the harvest and the first racking. In the historical centre of the village there is also a second cellar where the wine is aged in barriques and tonneaux.

The birth of the farm has allowed the tasting of the types of our wines accompanied by dishes of the territory and not, using seasonal products that we grow in a garden a few meters from the farm.

Here you will be greeted by a warm and familiar atmosphere in a living room with wooden coffered ceiling carved by hand and other carved wooden works that create a striking setting where taste and art come together in a perfect combination.

Abbiamo avuto occasione di conoscere coloro che portano avanti Azienda Viticola Folini. "Francesco -Renato -Mattia" Con mia moglie abbiamo trascorso una mezza giornata in compagnia della famiglia sentendoci parte. Il tempo non ha permesso visita in Vigna ma abbiamo ricevuto ugualmente l'esperienza di trovarci in mezzo all'uva. quanto degustato ha risvegliato il piacere di condividere del tempo in compagnia. Pizzocchero Cooking Class
Esperienza veramente grandiosa. Accoglienza calorosa e famigliare. Si mangia e si beve bene. E ti viene voglia di tornare a casa e metterti a fare i pizzoccheri. Consigliatissimo.
