The experience of grape drying and passion allowed us to obtain a wine with special, unique characteristics: the product we expected. Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, little Molinara, remain for a few months on well-ventilated crates.
The grapes are pressed in the winter cold, perfectly healthy and left to ferment in an all-natural way.
The result is a red wine with intense color; its aroma is very complex; reminiscent of cooked ripe fruit, under spirit, where plums, black cherries and raspberries prevail, spices (pepper and ginger in particular) and very light cocoa, licorice and anise.
In the mouth, hints of spirited jams and spices are enhanced; its naturally sweet tannins, perfectly balance the body, giving it an interesting roundness; it is very harmonious and well-structured.
For generations, the Bonazzi family has been handing down the peasant work of grape growing and winemaking. The Fratelli Bonazzi winery is a family-run business, producing excellent classic vintage wines. The winery and vineyards are located in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico area, in foothill plots supported by the characteristic dry-wall terraces (marogne).
The winery, in addition to being linked to the ancient winemaking traditions handed down through the ages, is nevertheless always very attentive to technological innovations.
This is why Mario, Luciano and Angelo are constantly seeking to make changes in the winery and vineyards that will allow for qualitative improvements in the great gift that nature has given us: wine.
